RUNNING BLIND CHAPTER 1

Jason Allwardt , Chad Hoerth, Johnny Turppa and Ryan The Iceman Beau

Running Blind was formed just over 2 years ago by Chad Hoerth. After playing in a band called Clearer for 15 years with 2 of his brothers it was just time to move on. Running Blind was a dream he wanted to do and was originally going to be a modern rock acoustic show with all the elements of a full blown electric show. With the initial line up of Chad Hoerth, Johnny Turppa, Ryan the Iceman and Jason Allwardt RB started off strong and with a mission. The electric show was blended in with the acoustic show and gained popularity very quickly. After about 20+ shows Ryan had a chance to be more involved with the family business and could not turn that down. Johnny was going to take some time off to be with his family and take care of his health. We had a blast and as of now, Johnny is doing great and ready to come out and do some jamming and Ryan has done a great job with the business and is now playing with Running Blind acoustic.

RUNNING BLIND CHAPTER 2

RB then recruited Daryl Peterson on guitar and vocals, Lonnie Hill on lead vocals and Brian Beotcher on drums. With this line up RB stuck more to the electric heavy rock and quickly turned up the heat with killer originals and a stage show full of energy and talent. With the powerhouse vocals of Lonnie, harmonies from Daryl and Jason the show was getting more intense. RB played the Rave in front of Hinder and Finger 11 and once again was gaining strength. As in every band there are ups and downs but no matter what RB always came out and gave it all they could. And with any company there are always avenues for people to take. Jason got a great offer from a band that was closer to home and also without the hectic schedule RB was doing. He joined and band called Blend 7 and has been a great asset to them. If you get a chance be sure to check them out. Daryl also got a chance to open his own business painting and with a little one on the way he needed to get his company up and running for the future extended family. So RB was about to make a big change and also looking forward to the challenge of doing so.

RUNNING BLIND CHAPTER 3

Shed Dog, Chad, Lonnie, Brian & Peter

With Chapter 3 of RB we locked onto 2 great musicians to fill the void. Shed Dog who is a great all around musician and Mr. Peter Virant who is one of the best shredders around. Updated the covers and working on getting some new originals was the goal. With 24 shows under the belt in a short period of time RB was about to make it's final change. Lonnie got an offer to join a local band called Splyne. We are all looking forward to hearing what these guys come out with soon. We have known the guys from Splyne for a long time and support Lonnie and Splyne 100% and are looking forward to doing some shows together in the near future. Brian had also decided to move in a different direction and we will keep everyone posted as their bands go. We have had allot fun, ups and downs and every kind of emotion you can think of the past couple years but everything happens for a reason.

Rb has seen some great musicians come and go, friendships and so on and would not change a thing. There is a place for everyone in this business and sometimes you just have to do some searching to find it. We are very glad that we could do that and wish everyone the best. Which brings us to the final chapter.

RUNNING BLIND CHAPTER 4

Chief, Jeff Stoeger, Chris Brooks, Peter Virant, Shed Dog

This is the chapter we have been waiting for. The chemistry is there, the fire and energy is there, the personnel is there and most of all, RB has finally found it's home. With the addition of Jeff Stoeger on vocals and guitar and Chris Brooks on drums the final chapter is here. With completely updating the set list to TODAYS modern rock and originals coming out so quick we can't keep the names straight it is time. This will be the Running Blind you will want to see and keep an eye on. No more line up changes, just 5 guys that found their home. Now are you ready for the ride????

RB acoustic brings back early elements of RB doing everything under the sun Acoustic. Metallica, Godsmack to Uriah Heep, Nugent and even maybe a slight chance of some kinda country tune flying out of our butts after a few to many shots.
